Exploring song lyrics and songwriting through stenography.

Stenography, or shorthand, is an abbreviated symbolic writing method, designed to increase the speed and brevity of writing. I have learned about this method a couple of years ago while watching a TV show. It fascinated me then, but I never did anything to learn it properly. In addition to that, I find that, as a songwriter, there are sometimes days when I get so inspired I do not even have time to properly write my thoughts and ideas down.
The idea behind this project became an exploration of the way that we write, much more so than putting typography as the most prominent element of the design. The symbols used in stenography are visually elegant, beautiful, and bearing a feeling of something old. Combined with the feeling of the original song lyrics, they become the enhancer of the atmosphere the posters created as the main solutions carry through colors and their separate compositions.
